Type and purpose of processing
We process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide a functioning website, respond to enquiries and communicate with you.
This mainly includes technical connection data, information submitted through the contact form and data transmitted to third-party providers when external content is loaded.
Website provision and server log files
When you access our website, technically necessary data is processed, including your IP address, date and time of access, pages visited, browser type and operating system.
This processing is carried out to provide, secure and maintain the stability of the website on the basis of our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.
Our website is hosted on a server operated by Strato AG, Pascalstraße 10, 10587 Berlin, Germany. The servers are located in Germany. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Strato, available at https://www.strato.de/agb/avv/. Contact form and communication
If you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process the information you provide, in particular your name, email address, message and an optional phone number, in order to handle your request.
Processing is carried out to take steps prior to entering into a contract or to respond to your enquiry under Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR and on the basis of our legitimate interest in reliable communication under Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.
For technical email delivery we use the SMTP service of Strato AG, Pascalstraße 10, 10587 Berlin, Germany. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Strato. Your message is stored only for as long as needed to handle your enquiry or comply with legal retention obligations.
For online reservations we process name, email address, date, time, party size and optional information, for example a phone number, allergies or other notes. This data is automatically deleted after the reservation has passed plus a short operational grace period (24 hours by default), unless statutory retention obligations apply.
Local storage and consent notice
Our consent notice stores your selection locally in your browser under the key teqreq_cookie_consent. This is used solely to avoid showing the notice again after you confirm it.
Analytics, tracking or marketing cookies are not currently active on this website.
Maps and external content
On the contact page we use an interactive map based on Leaflet and OpenStreetMap (OpenStreetMap Foundation, St John's Innovation Centre, Cowley Road, Cambridge, CB4 0WS, United Kingdom). The map is used in the interest of a user-friendly presentation of our location pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.
We also provide buttons that can open Google Maps or the Google review page if you choose to use them. These pages are only opened after your active click; from that moment on, Google's privacy policy applies.
Social media
We link to our profiles on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. If you click such a link, you leave our website and the privacy policies of the respective provider apply.
The platform is provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland. Processing of data outside the European Union cannot be ruled out.
